CPR Training Reno offers an ACLS Blended Learning Course designed specifically for busy healthcare professionals. Our course combines the convenience of online education with hands-on practice, adhering to the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. To enroll, you must have a current BLS certification.
The course is divided into two main components. First, you will complete the online learning portion, which takes approximately 30 minutes to 3 hours. This part covers essential ACLS content through engaging videos, readings, and interactive quizzes. Second, you will attend an in-person skills session at our facility, which lasts about 20 minutes to 1 hour. During this session, you will practice and demonstrate your skills, including performing ACLS techniques and using simulation equipment.
Upon successful completion of both the online and in-person components, you will receive your ACLS Certification. This certification is valid for two years. After its expiry, you must renew it to stay up-to-date with the latest ACLS practices and protocols.

ACLS Certification course can take 4- 6 hours to complete, depending upon the individual’s pace.
ACLS certification is valid for 2 years. Healthcare providers are advised to renew the ACLS certification before its expiration.
BLS (Basic Life Support) focuses on basic emergency care techniques such as CPR, using an AED, and relieving choking. It is designed for both healthcare providers and laypersons. In contrast, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) involves more advanced medical procedures and techniques like managing cardiac arrest, arrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes. Also, ACLS is intended for healthcare professionals in emergency and critical care settings.
The passing score for the ACLS written exam is 84%, meaning you must correctly answer at least 42 out of 50 questions. Additionally, you must also demonstrate proficiency in hands-on skills and simulations.
You can retake the ACLS exam multiple times if needed. You can retake the exam on the same day or schedule a retest within a specified period.
